NEWS FROM PATRICK REYNOLDS, PATRICK'S CAMPS

Patrick has returned to Tsavo and has been having a very enjoyable number of safaris, seeing elephant, lion and buffalo on his walks.

At the beginning of one of his safaris, sitting on the banks of the Athi River, he witnessed an enormous crocodile grab and down a young buffalo taking a drink. The fight seemed to last for a long time, but it ended to the crocodile's advantage and there in the water the croc left the buffalo to lay for a number of days before a horde of up to fifteen, fourteen-foot crocs converged and attacked the carcass with relish.

Having ringside seats, Patrick and his guests were able to watch the whole show.
